Breathtaking Wolf Design
Obverse: The bared fangs of a wolf are the focal point of the obverse. Above is a circle that looks like a more traditional obverse. The Bank of Mongolia's logo features just above the coin's face value, and both are flanked by Mongolian inscriptions. At the bottom are additional inscriptions that note the name of the issuing country, "MONGOLIA," and the weight and purity of the coin, "1 OZ .999 SILVER."

Reverse: The reverse bears a pair of wolf designs that overlap. One is in low relief showing the creature looking directly at the holder. The other is a side view at the animal that is executed in ultra high relief. Both designs are stunning, but the level of detail enabled by the new technology is truly stunning.
