Obverse: Ian Rank-Broadley's famous right-side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II graces the obverse. The monarch is shown wearing earrings and a tiara. Her effigy is encircled by inscriptions that note her name, the coin's date, the name of the issuing country, the face value, and the coin's weight and purity.
Reverse: Thor rides a chariot that is pulled by two goats on the reverse. The image, which is plated in gold, shows Thor carrying his famous hammer, Mjölnir. Thor's name is inscribed at the top of the design and at the bottom of the rim frame, while the theme, "NORSE GODS," is inscribed at the top of the frame.
