Description
This New York Bank Hoard pedigreed 1887 Morgan Silver Dollar achieved the solidly collectible Mint State 65 (MS65) grade from Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). The Morgan Dollar series was struck from 1878-1904 and then again in 1921. The coins were struck on 90% silver planchets, each containing .7734 oz. of silver bullion. This issue was struck at the Nation’s first mint, the Philadelphia branch of the U.S. Mint.
